Prairie Pet Mobile Vet
Dr. Stacey Lemieux
Dr. Lemieux graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She spent 8 years working in a busy walk-in practice in Regina. In 2010 she moved to Saskatoon with her husband and 2 daughters. After 5 years in a small animal practice in Saskatoon she saw an opportunity to bring veterinary care into your home. Many patients are stressed after the car ride to the clinic or the clinic atmosphere is a trigger for them. Not to mention bringing multiple pets to a clinic at one time can be a struggle. So, in the summer of 2016 she decided to start a house call practice. Her goal is to spend more quality time with her patients and to make the vet experience as stress free as possible.
Dr. Lemieux believes nutrition plays an integral role in a pet’s health. She also believes there is no one “perfect” diet. She will work with you and your pet to find a food that works best for you and your pet whether that’s raw, homemade, or kibble.
Away from work her 2 daughters keep her busy. In addition, she has 2 young cats, a lovable lab mix and an active boxer mix. Dr. Lemieux is a compassionate individual who wants to provide the absolute best care for your pets. She looks forward to meeting you and your furry friends!
